Ink + Sun grew out of a lifelong love of textiles — how they look, how they perform, and how they quietly shape our daily experience.
My work blends joyful watercolor art with thoughtful textile design, informed by years of experience in pattern development, material selection, and teaching. Alongside creating art and products, I serve as an adjunct faculty member at the New York School of Interior Design, where I teach interior design students about textile properties, end use, and sustainability.
That mix, of making and teaching, is central to how I work.
Some days, that looks like painting florals or woodland animals. Other days, it looks like developing fabric collections, building color palettes, or writing about why certain materials last longer, feel better, or simply work best in real life.
Ink + Sun exists at the intersection of playful creativity and professional knowledge. My goal is to make design feel both approachable and grounded — whether you’re choosing a tea towel, designing a pattern, or learning how to make better material decisions in your own work.

Things I love:
My Dogs! My big boy shepherd, Oboe is the best friend a girl could have. Picasso (white) is a rescue pup and so silly.
Volunteering at a dog shelter. So many sweet dogs who love to cuddle and play.
Dark chocolate. Don’t bring your milk chocolate ‘round here! I’m a chocolate snob.
City walking. I live in the country but I love traveling to cities. There’s so much to explore (and such good coffee).
Doing nothing. Sitting on the porch looking out at the woods in back. The butterflies, bird song, and buzz of nature feeds my soul.
